Parole violation warrants, 1920-1922 (bulk 1920, 1922).

These files document Governor Edwin P. Morrow's role as chief executive in the apprhension and arrest of fugitives from justice. Contained are requests from the State Board of Charities and Corrections for the arrest of paroled Kentucky prisoners who have violated the terms of their parole. These warrants are issued with the approval of the governor. The files are specifically labelled as warrants, but have been separated from warrants signed by governors of other states which request the apprehension and return of out-of-state fugitives believed to be in Kentucky.
